We have experienced with great satisfaction this delightful and typical restaurant, located in the heart of the city of Scanno.

Friendliness of the staff and, above all, of the owners who have delighted us with impeccable and sublime typical dishes of the Abruzzese cuisine are definitely worthy of note.

First of all the so-called "cazzellitti with the leaves", a typical dish of Scanno (small dumplings of water and flour seasoned with vegetables). Highly recommended and simply delicious!

Turning to the meat, absolutely to taste: the excellent grilled lamb!

Do not underestimate the typical appetizers (served on cutting boards and excellent cheeses), the wide selection of side dishes and, at the end of the meal, the superb homemade desserts!

We can confirm, in the preparation of the dishes, the restaurant will use genuine, local products of high quality.

Good house wine.

Definitely a pizzeria of older times, extraordinarily tight to the charm of the past but with an indisputable attraction.

A marvelously harmonized ambiance in the historic part of one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.

In addition to the undiscussed charm of the "retro" style of the restaurant, what will surprise (and leave without many words) is the quality of the pizzas that the owner produces one at a time from an old wood-burning oven.

Excellent service and company at the table of the owner (who at the end of the evening had a beer with us!).

The pizzas are expertly prepared with high quality ingredients: from flour to oil, from tomato to mozzarella.

Prices definitely affordable and below average compared to many other pizzerias (which will hardly reach the level of excellence of Angelone).

Absolutely recommended!

A small and cozy restaurant that finds its rightful place in the delightful village of Santo Stefano di Sessanio.

Easily reachable, even by car. In fact, Il ristoro degli elfi is located in a small square (where you can park your car) at the entrance of the old village.

The dishes offered are not so many but definitely of good quality: to point out the 'appetizer of the elves' consisting of excellent cheeses and meats, delicious vegetables and potatoes with saffron.

Another dish worthy of attention is the lentil soup with fried bread croutons (typical of the area). Really tasty!

Staff present and efficient. Nice owner.

Inside the restaurant it is possible to buy lentils and chickpeas cultivated in the territory and artisanal biscuits.

Good quality / price ratio.

In the heart of Tropea, right in the heart of historic town, we have enjoyed this characteristic restaurant, and we recommend it. This restaurant is deserving of many attentions!

Typical tropean cuisine of exemplary level: fresh fish and of excellent quality.

To taste the fileja pesto and prawns. Fileja is a type of pasta peculiar of Tropea cuisine, prepared at home and obtained from the simple mixture of water and flour. Superlative dish!

One of the best among the second courses is the excellent grilled tuna with red onion from Tropea and Pachino.

For those who want, also very good pizza (peculiarity: the structure also offers gluten-free pizzas!).

Extremely friendly and professional staff. Good wine selection.

Just a few meters from the entrance of Hotel Sovestro, that hosted us during the itinerary: Tuscany: our visit in Bagni San Filippo, Bagno Vignoni, San Gimignano and Volterra, placed in the "heart" of Tuscany , is located the characteristic Restaurant "Da Pode".

The restaurant is housed in an ancient farmhouse.

Accurately restored with its wooden beams, stone walls and antique floors will seem to make a leap back in time!
The property features a beautiful veranda where you can savor the dishes prepared with the utmost care by Lady Lucia!
Very good pizzas, characterized by the use of fresh ingredients (local produce) and which made us appreciate the renowned Tuscan cuisine.

Wide choice of wines. Great cakes.
